Description

EO-MC-001 is a liquid concentrate of the latest generation and has been specially developed for tinning processes. With this concentrate, the user is able to match an alcohol- or water-based flux exactly to his process.
EO-MC-001 is based on halogen-substituted organic compounds with high-performance additives for optimum wetting and above all offers the advantages of a very wide effective temperature range (approx. 130 – 300 °C).
After our fluxes had proven themselves very well in the local market, we also received an increasing number of enquiries from abroad. However, it turned out that the freight costs for overseas shipments sometimes exceeded the value of the goods considerably.
You can now avoid these problems with EO-MC-001 (no dangerous goods according to current transport regulations).

Recommendations for application:
The recommended application concentration is between 5 – 50% of EO-MC-001 for the respective process. For very complex tinning processes, the application is also possible without additional thinning.

For electronic processes:
Flux, water-based: (classification according to J-STD-004: OR M1): Depending on the application, up to a maximum of 15 % of EO-MC-001 in DI (Deionised) water [approx. 50g/L to 150 g/L].
Flux, alcohol-based: (Classification according to J-STD-004: OR M1): Depending on the application, up to a maximum of 15 % of EO-MC-001 in isopropyl alcohol (propan-2-ol) [approx. 40g/L to 120 g/L]. (Caution: mixture is inflammable, pay attention to explosion protection).
