Emil Otto presents expanded range of fluxes at Intersolar Europe

During Intersolar Europe 2025, we will be presenting the new SOLAR-FLUX EO-S-022, another trade fair innovation in addition to our extensive portfolio of flux and cleaning agents.

The leading developer of fluxes for the solar industry is thereby expanding its range of solar fluxes and will once again be showcasing innovative solutions for assembly and connection technology in solar module manufacturing in 2025.

The new EO-S-022 flux has a solids content of 2% and has been specifically developed for soldering solar modules, tabber and stringer material, and for cell connection. The colorless, transparent no-clean flux is based on a synthetic resin and rosin-free formulation. “Our new solar flux impresses with its strong activation, leaves no sticky residues and is non-corrosive. The activators are also specially designed for the high temperatures of solar module manufacturing processes,” explains Markus Geßner, Head of Marketing and Sales at Emil Otto GmbH. The EO-S-002 flux is also available as a quick-drying version, EO-S-022/FD. Emil Otto also offers the flux as EO-S-022 flux gel and as a concentrate. In the concentrated form, the flux can be transported and stored conventionally, reducing volume and costs.

‘This is an important factor, especially for module manufacturers abroad.’

Flux gels especially for the solar industry

In addition to the new flux, Emil Otto will also be presenting its recently launched flux gels for the solar industry for the first time at Intersolar Europe. Since the new EO-S-002, -007, and -009 flux gels are based on fluxes developed specifically for the solar industry, they contain the same activators.

Emil Otto will be presenting its product portfolio from May 7 to 9 at booth 317 in hall A2 at Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich.
