Description

EO-M-026 is a highly concentrated special flux for soldering and tinning nickel and nickel alloys as well as ‘nitinol’. This flux is free of zinc compounds and halides. It is used in various applications, including medical devices such as stents and orthodontic wires, as well as in aerospace and consumer goods.

The activator system is based on inorganic components formulated with complex organic additives. It also contains highly effective activators and special additives to improve wetting behavior.

EO-M-026 is a highly effective flux with a strong activator system and very low residue behavior, enabling a flawless and extremely clean soldering result to be achieved after the soldering process.
It can be applied using all standard application methods (dosing, dipping, immersion, hand soldering, and selective processes (except “foaming”/foam fluxing).

Recommendations for processing:
The cleaned base material is slightly preheated (using induction, oven, IR, soldering iron, hot air or flame) and then EO-M-026 is applied. With the addition of solder, the joint material is further heated until the solder melts. To prevent corrosion, the flux residues must be removed immediately and completely.
