Solder pastes – Essential for rework and PCBA repair work

Solder paste plays a crucial role in rework and post-processing of PCBA, ensuring the quality and reliability of repair work on electronic assemblies. Emil Otto offers a wide range of high-performance rework solder pastes, designed to meet the highest standards in soft soldering, hand soldering, and tinning applications.

High-quality rework solder pastes

Our rework pastes are lead-free solder pastes, formulated with high-activity properties, excellent wetting, and superior spreading characteristics. They contain halogen-free fluxing agents, making them ideal for manual soldering and repair work.

All solder pastes are available in 10 g or 20 g syringes for precise dosing and application. They can be directly dispensed using the syringe, allowing for accurate placement before hand soldering with a soldering iron or hot-air system. In certain cases, these solder pastes can also assist in wave soldering of critical components, though user testing is recommended.

Key advantages of Emil Otto solder pastes

Reliable adhesion

Emil Otto solder pastes show strong adhesion before the soldering process. The components form a firm connection with the PCB during the soldering process, which is an important aspect, especially when repairing or replacing faulty components. After all, insufficient adhesion can lead to contact problems and impair the functionality of the assembly.

Efficiency

Cost-effective solutions are essential in electronics manufacturing. Our solder pastes offer high performance with minimal application costs, helping to reduce overall rework expenses.

Optimum melting temperature

A precise melting temperature ensures even solder flow, creating a solid connection without damaging sensitive components. This is crucial for rework, where existing components need to be protected.

Resistance to environmental influences

Durable solder joints must withstand thermal and mechanical stress. Emil Otto’s high-quality solder pastes guarantee long-term stability under demanding conditions.

Easy handling

The user-friendly consistency of our solder pastes makes application quick and efficient, especially for fine SMD components.

Flexibility in the soldering process

Emil Otto solder pastes are compatible with various soldering techniques, making them versatile for different production environments, from soft soldering to tinning and hand soldering.

Enhance your soldering process with premium solder pastes from Emil Otto – ensuring precision, efficiency, and long-lasting reliability in rework and PCBA repair work!
