Emil Otto will not use any alcohol declared as “bio-alcohol” due to sustainability

Many industries, especially the chemical industry, want to produce end products in a more sustainable way. In some cases, seemingly sustainably produced preliminary products such as organic alcohol are used. However, for the German flux manufacturer Emil Otto GmbH, it is precisely the agricultural origin that is the decisive criterion for refraining from using bio-alcohol.
Emil Otto launches product campaign with new Green Line fluxes and concentrates

The German flux specialist Emil Otto GmbH has planned a number of product innovations for the year 2023. The product campaign will start with the new water-based flux EO-G-006 and the new, also water-based two-component concentrates.
A perfect combination

At productronica 2021 and SMTconnect 2022, Emil Otto GmbH presents tubular solders with the EO-FC- 006 filling compound for the first time. These tubular solders were developed together with Feinhütte Halsbrücke GmbH and Eutect GmbH and are characterised by significantly improved smoke and residue behaviour. Based on this filling compound, Emil Otto has now developed the flux series EO-B-023
Emil Otto expands solar flux portfolio in response to good customer demand

In addition to the solar fluxes EO-S-002 with 2 % solids and a very low resin content and the completely resin-free EO-S-007 with also 2 % solids content, which are in great demand on the market, Emil Otto is systematically expanding its portfolio for solar fluxes. In doing so, the flux specialist is pursuing a product strategy that provides the perfect product for every area of application, as Emil Otto has already implemented in the electronics industry and metal chemistry.
Emil Otto expands range with non-labelled soldering system cleaner

With Etimol SEM 12 RAA, Emil Otto GmbH is launching a non-labelled medium for cleaning reflow ovens, wave and selective soldering systems and vapour phases. Various impurities and flux residues can be removed efficiently and gently with the new soldering system cleaner.
Anti-foam agents for safe processes during the removal of flux residues in electronics manufacturing

Emil Otto further expands product portfolio of the alcohol and water-based flux series EO-Y-006

The German flux manufacturer Emil Otto GmbH is further expanding its product range with the EO-Y-006 A and C fluxes. Both flux versions are available to customers with immediate effect and ensure further diversification of the product portfolio at Emil Otto.
Emil Otto expands hybrid flux portfolio around EO-Y-14

Due to customer demand, Emil Otto GmbH is expanding the product range around the hybrid flux EO-Y-014B, which was presented at productronica 2021, with additional variants. The hybrid fluxes are alcohol and water-based fluxes that have been specially developed by Emil Otto for use in wave and selective soldering.
Emil Otto introduces new alcohol-based selective fluxing agent

At productronica 2021, Emil Otto GmbH will not only present the broadest flux portfolio on the market, but also several new products – among them is a latest-generation alcohol-based flux, EO-B-016.
